Şişecam Enerji A.Ş. carries out wholesale and retail natural gas sale in Turkey natural gas market within the scope of the “Wholesale License” dated 03/09/2014 with number DTS/5196-7/364 it has obtained from the Energy Market Regulatory Authority.
Natural gas consumption of domestic facilities carrying on business within Şişecam is 1.5 billion m³ annually. The subject consumption amount constitutes 3% of Turkey. Şişecam Enerji meets Şişecam’s high natural gas consumption as well as supplying natural gas also to consumers in “Free Consumer” position in natural gas market by offering cost advantage.
Şişecam Enerji performs high volume energy trade with other natural gas market participants by bilateral agreements along with discounted electric sales to end consumers.
Natural gas amount the company trades is over 600 million m³ annually.
